My passion for color analysis arose because I myself always struggled with dressing well and finding the right colors. After my own analysis a few years ago in Seoul, it turned out that I was doing everything wrong. Through this process, I know how valuable this information is.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Hi, I am Amy<\/font><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My name is Amy and I am\u00a0<\/span>Personal color consultant<\/b>, trained in Western, Japanese, and Korean color analysis. My journey began a few years ago, when I delved deeper and deeper into color analysis and image consulting. Eventually\u00a0<\/span>I traveled to Seoul, South Korea<\/b>, to pursue my training as a Personal Color Consultant. Later, I took additional courses in the Japanese and Western methods and flew to Seoul again for an Image Consulting course.<\/span><\/p>

My background is not directly in the creative world. I have a\u00a0<\/span>HBO diploma in Human Resource Management<\/b>\u00a0and worked for large international companies after my studies. I soon realized that this was not where my passion lay. It didn't feel like something I wanted to keep doing for the rest of my life.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

My journey from make-up artist<\/font> to color analysis consultant<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Makeup, on the other hand, has always been a major hobby of mine. I grew up during a time when beauty content on YouTube was becoming increasingly popular, and for me, makeup was primarily a form of creativity and interest. Therefore, while working a full-time job, I decided to take a makeup course. I worked during the day, went to school on weekends, and practiced and worked on assignments in the evenings. Even during this course, I got to do some great jobs. When I later took the Advanced course, I decided to make this my full-time profession.<\/p>

During my career as a make-up artist<\/strong> I have had the opportunity to work on various assignments in the Netherlands and Belgium, including for clothing brands and television. However, I noticed that I was not deriving the satisfaction from this, that I had hoped for.<\/p>

My own struggle played a major role in this. I always felt like I couldn't dress well and, as a result, almost always wore black. I made a lot of bad purchases and followed trends in the hope that something would finally look good on me. Because of this, clothing felt more like a source of frustration than something I enjoyed.<\/p>

That is how I ended up with color analysis for myself. Due to my interest in Korean skincare and makeup.<\/strong> My Instagram algorithm consisted largely of this type of content. I saw color analyses popping up more and more often, and I thought: how useful it is to know exactly which colors suit you? For me personally, color analysis has changed a tremendous amount. I also noticed around me that many people felt a need for this knowledge.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

What I find so beautiful about the Korean method is that it looks at you as a whole, not at a box. I have a mixed background myself, and in Western analyses, I was often placed in a category that didn't fit. So, I know from personal experience how important it is for an analysis to look beyond a standard. Everyone is welcome in my salon and receives the same accurate advice, regardless of skin color or background.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
